New Member New members are those who enter a training program established by the League to prepare them for effective community and League involvement. Upon completion of necessary requirements, New Members are voted into Active membership.
Active Active members are those who have completed the New Member training program. They participate in the League’s placement program, support the League financially and must fulfill ways and means obligations.
Associate Members are eligible for Associate status when they have completed five years of membership, excluding periods of absence due to leave or resignation. Associates support the League financially and retain all privileges of an Active member, with the exception of serving in a leadership position and voting. Associates do not have placement or meeting requirements
Sustainer Members are eligible for Sustainer status when they have completed seven years of membership, excluding periods of absence due to leave or resignation. Sustainers support the League financially and retain all the privileges of an Active member, with the exception of serving in a leadership position and voting at General Meetings. Sustainers do not have placement or meeting requirements.
Emeritus Emeritus members are those sustainers who have reached age requirements and are therefore relieved of any dues requirement.
Non-resident Non-resident members are those who live outside of the geographical area, but continue to support JLN financially.
