Voting Notice

Please join us at the October General Membership Meeting on October 10th at the Trails Golf Club to vote on the proposed bylaw and policy changes for the Junior League of Norman.  Click these links to review the proposed changes (bylaws or policy), any questions can be directed to Jenny Dillon, JLN President, prior to the meeting or at the meeting in person.

Notable proposed changes to bylaws and policies:  Updating the mission statement to match AJLI’s new mission statement, changing the dates of our voting meetings to better fit JLN’s operational needs, updating the dues to match the increase that was approved by vote last year, changing the quorum of members from 2/3 to a simple majority, and clarifying the procedures to request absentee ballots.

In addition, we will be voting to confirm the appointment of the following board positions for the 2023-2324 league year.

Courtney Floyd, Sustaining Advisor

Nicole Emerson, Sustaining Coordinator

Lauren Dansby, Finance VP

It is very important that a majority of members (active and provisional) be present at the October GMM to meet the 2/3 quorum (there will not be a virtual attendance option).
