New members are those who enter a training program established by the League to prepare them for effective community and League involvement. Upon completion of necessary requirements, New Members are voted into Active membership.
Active members are those who have completed the New Member training program. They participate in the League’s placement program, support the League financially and must fulfill all established requirements.
Members are eligible for Associate status when they have completed five years of membership, excluding periods of absence due to leave or resignation. Associate members retain all privileges of an Active member, with the exception of serving in a leadership position and voting. Associate members must support the League financially through payment of annual dues but do not have placement or meeting requirements.
Members are eligible for Sustainer status when they have completed seven years of membership, excluding periods of absence due to leave or resignation. Sustainers must support the League financially through payment of annual dues.
Emeritus members are those sustainers who have reached age requirements and are therefore relieved of any dues requirement.
Non-resident members are those who live outside of the geographical area, but continue to support JLN financially.
