12 May Community Impact
Decade after decade, the inspirational service and advocacy of Junior League volunteers not only has helped bring about many of the privileges we now take for granted—from free school lunches to domestic violence shelters and clean water—but has shaped the way people think about serving their local communities, their nations, and the world.
The Junior League of Norman is committed to reducing obstacles and increasing opportunities for vulnerable children and youth within the Cleveland county area. JLN carefully evaluates the biggest areas of need in our community and focuses our efforts on issues where we believe we can make an impact. In addition to providing trained volunteers to our community partners, we take action on state issues that affect our projects and focus areas. Relating to such issues, we educate our members as well as the Norman community while fostering collaboration and communication with community partners.
