12 May Food for Kids

In partnership with the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank and McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church, the Junior League of Norman provides Norman middle school students at risk of going hungry with backpacks full of food every weekend from September – May through the Food for Kids Project. Every child deserves access to nutritious food but those that live in poverty within our community, skip meals and go to bed hungry, ultimately affecting their ability to learn and grow. With the support of our Community Partners and donors, we are able to feed over 300 children every weekend for the entire school year.
