Becoming a member of the Junior League of Norman means getting involved in your community, helping local youth succeed, and connecting with women and community members across various backgrounds, education levels and experiences. Membership is open to all women who have a passion for volunteerism. Despite our differences, we have the common goal of giving to our community in an effort to make it a better place.
Are you ready to give back?
Each year, we invite volunteers to join our organization. The first term of membership is devoted to learning about our events and programs, and how we serve our community. Throughout your New Member term, you will learn what it means to become a member while actively serving to better our community. Training includes community projects and fundraisers as well as learning the bylaws, policies and procedures. Our pledge to you is to keep you actively involved in our programs and events while providing lifelong, worthwhile training and information. Together, we can build a better Norman.
Outlines below are our new member requirements, detailing what we expect you to learn and accomplish during your New Member term.
